#CHAFF2020

Celebrating local artists & VE Day 75th Anniversary

#VEDay75

 FESTIVAL POSTPONED

We are very sad to announce that, due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus, we have had to take the decision to postpone Cheddar's Walking Arts Trail for 2020.

Artists -  We are proud to have 48 members this year. Visit our members page to find out more.

Sponsors, contributors and supporters - We have been overwhelmed this year with the amount of local businesses sponsoring us, volunteers supporting us, Friends donating, groups, clubs, charities, and other organisations planning to get involved.

Thank you all.

We won't be letting all that work go to waste so please watch this space for details of other events coming later in the year including a delayed opportunity for the village to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

The next full walking Arts Trail will take place from Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd May 2021.

Cheddar Parish Council

Allotments in Cheddar

Cheddar has a long history or 'growing our own', and many market gardens all over the village.

The Parish Council allotments are a great opportunity to get out, get fit, and enjoy home grown fruit and vegetables.

Come and see the unique scarecrow protecting the strawberry plants outside his potting shed this month!

If you're with a local school, charity or community group and would like to exhibit in the phone box, please email info@cheddarartists.co.uk

Drop in and create...

was a huge success and we loved seeing finished bottles at Venue 15.  Ellen Grady & Mel Reid then designed the bottle chandelier to go into the CHAFF Telephone Art Box for June 2019.

This year we'll be making art to display in the phone box at Petruth Paddocks campsite...more details soon!

Yarn Bombing

Fairlands School did a brilliant job of yarn bombing Cheddar and did you spot their colourful ceramics?

Thank you Fairlands for making Cheddar so colourful and fun.

Cheddar is getting an extra special CHAFF AND VE Day makeover this year...to get your home or business involved email info@cheddarartists.co.uk
